FAQ
Where can I find HOA documents like Bylaws, CCRs, and financial documents?
There are several resources to find HOA documents
All documents can be found under the Documents link including
Annual budgets
ByLaws and CCRs
Communications with individual homeowners
ByLaws and CCRs
Minutes
Letters to owners
Annual Meeting documents shared during a meeting
HOA annual meetings
The annual meeting is the primary time and place to receive a copy of the annual budget, and get helpful information about the budget and process. Homeowners should attend the annual meeting to ask questions and understand what we as a community spend our money on.
How do I read the budget?
Budgets are created for full years, and dates should be located on the document. Due to the timing of when we have historically collected assessments, the board has found the process to be simpler to generate the budget report based on the timeframe around collecting an annual assessment. The budget timeframe may change, but the budget report will always include a budget date range.Â
Does the HOA Board monitor the neighborhood facebook group?
No. The neighborhood facebook group was not created by the HOA, nor does the HOA manage this group. The primary method of communicating with the HOA is the HOA portal.
What happens if the HOA Board needs clarification on the Bylaws or CCRs?
The HOA Board is responsible for applying the Bylaws and CCRs to the best of their ability. The HOA Board is a collection of volunteer homeowners who are not legal subject matter experts, so there may be times when the HOA Board needs to seek advice from legal experts.
What is the purpose of the HOA?
The primary purpose of the HOA is to maintain property values. The HOA Board is a group of volunteers, elected by HOA members. We believe the best way to achieve our goals is by:
Listening to all homeowners and bringing changes to a community vote
Ensuring our community continues to look great by managing our landscaping vendor, monitoring HOA assets in need of repair, etc.
Managing financial responsibilities of the HOA
Managing this website
Preparing annual reserve studies in consultation with the HOA reserve study vendor
Ensuring HOA tax documents are prepared and filed with the help of the HOA C.P.A.
Facilitating clear and transparent communication to homeowners
